Mrs Susan Bello

Susan Bello garners over two decades of experience in the professional media industry starting as a researcher, reporter and presenter at NTA 2 Channel 5 Victoria Island Lagos, and then producing for The 700 Club and Operation Blessing International, with a keen interest in telling humanitarian and development stories. She also co-hosted 700 Club Nigeria, a faith-based magazine style program. She is an ardent supporter of rural missions and finds deep purpose in being hands-on, boots on the ground in hard to reach areas.

As a media and communications consultant, she has supported numerous organizations to highlight project impact and results, facilitate advocacy and capacity building and honed the skills of dozens of young people through television production workshops. She is a member of the team that curates The International Creatives Summit, a think tank established to foster change and inspire creative content.

She is currently a doctoral candidate at Leeds Beckett University UK, with her research area focused on women journalists and the use of mobile technology. Her current interests span academia and volunteering for community-based projects providing books for underserved groups.
